Vanilla Hill is situated in the Craigston area on a gentle hillside overlooking the sea and Hillsborough bay.
Walking distance to:
Hillsborough, 15-20 minutes.
Nearest bus-stop 4 minutes. (The busses are minivans and run about every 10 minutes, except Sundays when they are less frequent then weekdays).
Nearest beach 5-7 minutes. (There are two beaches, Toms bay which is excellent for snorkelling and Sparrow bay).
Taxis are easy to get, either book by phone or catch one down the road - any minibus will "convert" itself into a taxi if required.
Of course for a more convenient way of getting around there's always car-rental.
